At least by Louisiana standards. It’s 44 degrees and raining., but we are at a fun walk/run in support of Cara’s house, a local pet shelter.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
They were flooded in August and took in an extra 150 dogs after the flood. Many were adopted, but the remaining dogs are living in an open-sided horse pavilion. If you are looking for a cause to help with this holiday season, theirs is a good one.

By Louisiana standards, that would be a cold day in hell.

Oh man, who wouldn’t want to take that dog home straight away. S/he looks an older dog but look at the life s/he still has in her/him.
What a beautiful dog.

Thanks! Most people pet her and say, “she’s so fluffy!” She’s about 9 years old. We rescued her from the pound at 8 weeks old, so she’s been with us since she was old enough to be weaned.

She’s so beautiful. She looks like an angel that has a mischievous side.
The sort you can play-wrestle with but also take to the park and not have to worry, will she come back when I call.
Please give her a big hug from me.

She likes to run, but always comes back. We had a tornado that took down our fence a few years ago. She was waiting for us on the front porch when we got home. If only she could talk and tell us about that adventure!

She sounds great.
Take care of each other.

44 and raining is a prefect day for a dog walk...bad day for a human walk.
